Code of Ethics
There are a few things to note before we begin —
Please read and submit your electronic acknowledgement at the bottom.
1) You are the authority on your own experience. If something does not feel right, you do not need to appease anyone—so pause, go with what feels good. Trust your own adjustments.
2) You can always control the pace at which you participate. If you need to slow down, back off, or simply settle in for a little longer, please do that. You will not fall behind, you will be exactly where you need to be.
3) Especially for audio-meditations: you might not like the sound (or pacing) of my voice—that is ok! You do not need to complete each day’s session in order to participate. You can absolutely join only on “live” days.
4) If you cannot afford to donate, please do not worry. I will not take offense. You may always donate by spreading the word about the project, if that feels appropriate.
5) For “live” (via Zoom) days: feel free to mute and disconnect your camera for any portion of time, including the entire time. I am only sending a Zoom link to folks who register and who submit this acknowledgement form—and I will most likely personally know everyone on the call, at least for the beginning.
Also, to respect everyone’s time, we’ll only be having a Q & A on Saturdays—so if you’ve got questions or curiosities, please save them until Saturday.
6) For the Q & A: Hopefully, this will become our interactive community space. Please use your most generous judgement as your listen, respond, and ask questions. Also, there is no obligation to partake in the Q & A, you can absolutely peace out after Saturday’s session.
7) Privacy. I will not share your name, email, or any tracking info (I’ve disabled ‘cookies’ on this site) with anyone, ever. I ask that you participate in this project’s virtual community with a concern for safety and privacy—thus, do not take screenshots of our “live” sessions (and certainly, please do not post any pictures of our “live” sessions on social media). *If I can ensure the audio-quality is pleasant, I will offer the audio of our “live” sessions on this site. If you wish to record our “live” sessions for your own continued practice, please end your recording on Saturdays before the Q & A begins.
